    Everland covers an area of about 5,000 square meters, where rare animals such as meerkats and falcons live. “Everland” is designed according to their living habits and simulating natural environment. Verdant trees and shrubs flourish in well-planted order, and visitors are exposed to the ecological natural environment, which greatly satisfies people’s desire to walk into nature and get close to animals.

    The Wading Bird Pavillion covers an area of about 2,000 square meters. Wading birds refer to birds that adapt to living in swamps and watersides. Their legs are particularly slender, and their necks and toes are also long, so they are suitable for wading. Wading birds often stand on one foot when resting, and most of them get food from the bottom of the water, mud or the ground. The museum contains dozens of kinds of wading birds, such as oriental white storks, red-crowned cranes, grey cranes, balearica regulorums, demoiselle cranes and yellow-billed storks.

    Kangaroo Museum covers an area of about 1,000 square meters, exhibiting red kangaroos, which are the largest species in Kangaroo family. Kangaroos have one thing in common: their hind legs are strong and powerful, and they jump instead of running. It can be said that kangaroos are mammals that jump the highest and farthest.

    One of the important reasons why Australia makes kangaroo one of the animals on the national emblem is that it will always only jump forward and never retreat. It is hoped that people will never back down like kangaroos.

    Amphibious Science Museum covers an area of about 2,000 square meters, and the whole venue is beautiful without losing popular science interest. The venues are divided into snake exhibition hall, turtle exhibition hall, frog exhibition hall, lizard exhibition hall, popular science propaganda hall, animal specimen bone exhibition area and open-air crocodile island.

    Raccoon is an animal of raccoon family in carnivora of Mammalia, which originated from North America. It is named raccoon in Chinese as “Huanxiong” because it washes its food in water before eating. It has superior foot sense, and often hunts and eats with its front paws, which are almost as flexible as monkeys. Raccoon has a reputation as “Talented Swimmers”. It likes to inhabit the woods near rivers, lakes or ponds, and most of raccoons work together in pairs or as families.

    Flamingo is a large bird of Phoenicopteridae family, which lives in saltwater lakes, swamps and some lagoons, and mainly lives by filtering algae and plankton. In the Flamingo Garden of Yancheng Wildlife World in Changzhou, an orange outlook is particularly conspicuous. Orange feathers, long necks and “Seductive” legs attract many visitors to pay a visit.

    Flamingo Restaurant is located next to Flamingo Garden. While enjoying delicious food, visitors may also see the captivating shadows of flamingos and enjoy the scenery and rest. Wouldn’t it be wonderful?

    淹城旅游区与外界的分界线。“仰淹阙”,顾名思义,就是仰望淹君的阁楼。

    广场中央巨大的器皿称为双兽三轮青铜盘,根据是1957年在淹城地界出土的青铜盘原件按1:10的比例放大的,由中国文物协会赠送。

    青铜三轮盘原件现收藏在中国历史博物馆。造型独特,它通高15.6厘米,口径26厘米,底径14.5厘米。盘敞口、浅腹、圈足,盘底下装有可转动的三轮,每轮六条辐,其前轮两侧伸出长颈回首的双兽,兽首有冠,大目圆睁,吻部前伸,兽身饰鳞纹、三角纹、窃曲纹等,兽首作饮水状。盘周围有编织纹。在春秋时期,它应该是一个很精致的餐盘或者果盘,可以在客人面前来回移动,满足他们的需要。这尊青铜三轮盘结构合理,在制作过程中使用了浇铸、焊接、榫卯组装等工艺,把实用器与艺术品融为一体,显示了高超的青铜工艺水平。目前所见古代青铜器,三轮盘仅此一件,是吴越青铜器中具有浓厚地域风格和时代特征的器物。

    青铜盘周围嵌的这四块石刻分别是青龙、白虎、朱雀、玄武,他们是道教的四方神,分别护卫东西南北。左右两边是钟楼和鼓楼。广场四角的四根琮柱是用五彩石制作的,每根重30吨。

    便是巍峨雄壮的淹城城楼,楼上的“春秋淹城遗址”是书法家沈鹏题写的,字体意境深邃,格调高雅,笔墨苍润,气势恢宏。
